The movie is hitting big screens on Boxing Day 2013.
With Stallone, De Niro, Kevin Hart, Kim Basinger and Jon Bertnhal it sounds promising, at least for the box office.
Two retired boxers Billy "The Kid" McDonnen and Henry "Razor" Sharp have a thirty years old grudge which hasn't subsided yet. It revolves around the fact that that Razor had retired the night before the match for the title thus destroying both of their careers.
As the time passes one of them becomes a rich playboy and the other one went down in poverty. Now they have an opportunity to get the score even with one last match, in which they both have their respective interest to participate in, but the one in common is getting the score even. The match went viral as someone took a video of the two fighting while trying to get some CGI effects for the video game that was about to be made.However it will be hard to keep calm with all the popularity the match got with social networks and with the training they both gave up long ago.
The movie raises some great expectations but it is, basically, a great comedy with a lot of fun. Don't expect to see a boxer with his groins in ice or a poverty stricken Rocky making dumb commercials.
What you need to expect is witty dialog and crazy situations they place themselves into.
If you like that kind of things, this is the movie for you.
