Jon Bernthal was born in Washington, studied in Russia at The Moscow Art Theatre School where he also. He performed in theatres, and his company Fovea Floods was quite successful. He lives in Venice, California.
He also played baseball while he was living in Russia.

New Grudge Match poster - De Niro obviously photoshopped

The new Grudge Match poster is here and it doesn't look that well. De Niro's head has obviously been photo-shopped to someone's body and Stallone's head seems a little crooked. This is, of course a comedy but I don't think this is an intentional slip.

Kevin Hart - the fresh breeze in Grudge Match

Kevin Hart was born in Philadelphia, his father a cocaine addict who had spent time in prison while  his mother and his elder brother Robert tried to make ends meet.
He started as a shoe salesman but at the same time tried to make it as a stand up comedian i Philadelphia night clubs.
Now he has earned fifteen  million dollars with his comedy "Laugh at my Pain" and has an iTunes game called "Little Jumpman".

Grudge match quotes

Although the movie hasn't hit the cinemas yet, some of the quotes became memorable even though the only thing we've got is the trailer. They have already started to be used in the everyday speech. Take a look at some of them.

Watch the trailer. Stallone and De Niro pick a fight  while  shooting scenes for a computer game, Kevin Hart with his big mouth trying to make some money, Rocky and Raging bull mocking references - you want to see this.

The other leading actor of Grudge Match movie is Sylvester Stallone  Born in Hell’s kitchen he had a tough time wit his parents, having to get to foster care. Such experience helped him get into the characters which were mainly rough and dangerous, just like the life on New York streets.

• One of the two leading actors of Grudge Match was born and raised in Little Italy, and was a member of a gang for a brief period. He quit school when he was 16 to dedicate his education to acting.

Grudge Match Plot

The movie is hitting big screens on Boxing Day 2013.
With Stallone, De Niro, Kevin Hart, Kim Basinger and Jon Bertnhal it sounds promising, at least for the box office.


Two retired boxers Billy "The Kid" McDonnen and Henry "Razor" Sharp have a thirty years old grudge which hasn't subsided yet. It revolves around the fact that that Razor had retired the night before the match for the title thus destroying both of their careers.
